Players move 15 checkers around 24 triangles (“points”) based on dice rolls, aiming to “bear off” (remove) all pieces before their opponent. The game, with ancient origins, involves landing on, blocking, or hitting opposing “blots” (single checkers) to win via standard victory, gammon, or backgammon.

We meet bi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 7pm – 8pm, in the library. 2nd Tuesday: Pen to Page – Warm up with a 15 min prompt (option to share) and use the remaining time to progress personal projects. 4th Tuesday: Open Mic – A chance to share what you are working on with the group and seek advice/feedback.
